Video Editor and Animator  role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated video editor and animator to join our growing company in the marketing team, who will be responsible for delivering captivating visual content in order to tell the Museum of Illusion stories. You will closely work with other marketing team members to create effective and eye-catching videos and animations to strengthen and grow our brand presence. That means creating videos for ads, social media, web, OOH campaigns and museum exhibits. If you are a communicative, creative, and outgoing video editor and animator capable of delivering excellent videos, know how to make a video capture audience’s attention, how to prepare assets for various channels, and what’s the difference between .mp3 and .mp4, we would very much like to get to know you!

Responsibilities:

  • Edit video footage using museum's asset library as well as stock if needed, to create a polished final products for various platforms, editing and sequencing events and celebrity footage
  • Design and create enticing motion graphics and animations for video projects
  • Incorporate sound, voice-over, and music seamlessly into video projects
  • Concept and storyboard creation based on briefs
  • Collaborate with copywriter, designers and other members of the team
  • Implement feedback changes to video projects
  • Ensure final videos are visually appealing and on-brand
  • Advise best practices and optimizations in projects to maximize efficiency
  • Attend team meetings to understand project goals, timelines and expectations

Requirements and skills:

  • Background in video production and animation (mid level)
  • A strong portfolio of relevant work (video edits, 2D and 3D animation)
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D).
  • Creative storytelling abilities with attention to pacing, narrative flow, and audience engagement
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Be creative, curious, imaginative and original
