Role & Responsibilities:

Category Manager Support: 

• Assist in developing and implementing category strategies to meet business objectives. 

• Collaborate with the Category Manager to plan and execute product range reviews. 

• Support the creation of promotional plans and pricing strategies. 

• Support the Category manager in other business related activities 

Inventory Management: 

• Monitor inventory levels and work with the procurement team to optimize stock levels. 

• Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and propose actions to mitigate risks. 

• Ensure accurate and timely order placement and delivery tracking. 

Sales and Performance Tracking: 

• Track category performance against targets and KPIs. 

• Prepare regular reports and presentations on category performance and initiatives. 

• Identify opportunities to enhance category performance and drive sales growth. 

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in category management, retail, marketing, or a related field. 

• Strong analytical skills. 

• Excellent in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. 

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. 

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. 

Desired Skills:

• Experience with data analysis tools and software. 

• Familiarity with category management principles and best practices. 

• Familiarity with retail and consumer goods industries. 

• Creative thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving. 

Work Environment:

• Office-based with occasional travel to supplier locations and trade shows. 

• Fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving targets.
