Position Overview:
The IT Infrastructure Project Engineer is a newly created role within our internal IT team, responsible for leading and delivering infrastructure and security projects that support our global expansion. This role involves full ownership of technical project execution, ensuring structure, consistency, and enhanced security across our IT environment. It also requires creating and maintaining technical documentation and standards while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Together, we will design your to-do list, which will include tasks like:
- Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timely execution from initial planning through to final documentation.
- Administer and secure Microsoft 365 environments, including managing users, permissions, and security settings across Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Oversee device management using Microsoft Intune, MDM, and Autopilot, including provisioning, compliance policy enforcement, and lifecycle management.
- Configure and maintain identity and access management solutions within Azure Active Directory, including Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) deployments.
- Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and infrastructure standards to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing.
- Manage device lifecycle processes, including provisioning, imaging, naming conventions, and secure decommissioning of endpoints.
- Implement and support cloud backup solutions and contribute to business continuity planning, ensuring data recovery readiness and minimal downtime.
We’re looking for someone with:
- 3+ years in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or similar hands-on technical roles
- Proven ability to lead and deliver IT infrastructure projects end-to-end, including planning, execution, and documentation.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 administration and security, managing users, permissions, and services such as Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and Autopilot for device provisioning, compliance, and management.
- Proficiency in Azure Active Directory, including identity and access management, configuring Single Sign-On (SSO), and deploying Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Skilled in creating and maintaining technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and infrastructure standards.
- Experience implementing cloud backup solutions and contributing to business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Basic understanding of VPN, networking concepts, and ISP redundancy/failover configurations (nice-to-have).
- Comfortable coordinating with external vendors, managed service providers (MSPs), and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery (nice-to-have).
- Experience in hospitality industry, retail, franchise-based networks, or SaaS/scaleups is considered as plus
- Experience in mid-sized or international organizations (100+ employees, multi-site)
- Used to dynamic, fast-growing environments where things scale quickly
