Innovation Lead Role Overview

MOI is currently seeking a creative and detail-oriented Innovation Lead to join our Research & Development department which specializes in developing illusion-based exhibits for museums. In this role, you’ll be responsible for discovering new ideas and directing their development from ideas to proof of concept by conducting thorough research and forging strategic collaborations with leading partners in the illusion and exhibit development industry. We are seeking an individual with a background in innovation and research with technical knowledge that would be instrumental in spearheading the development of new exhibits.

What you would get to do:

• Identify and research new concepts for exhibits from various sources, including industry events, market insights, and internal idea submissions
• Determine the best approach for developing new ideas, whether through in-house creation or vendor partnerships
• Attend relevant meetups, fairs, and conferences to stay informed about industry trends and innovations
• Reach out to artists and vendors to explore potential partnerships and product offerings
• Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends and patterns for future idea development
• Present findings to stakeholders on frequent basis
• Lead the entire process from idea generation to proof of concept, ensuring successful implementation of innovative ideas with focus on creative development
• Allocate and manage resources to ensure project success
• Work with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to the product strategy process

What you need to bring along:

•  Proven experience in entertainment industry related fields of work with focus on innovative design
• Technical development knowledge
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to travel and network within the industry
• Project management experience with a focus on creative development
• Excellent command of MS Office
• High proficiency in English
• Bonus points if you have knowledge and/or experience in working with 3d modelling and rendering software (Sketch-up pro, Rhino or Enscape)
