Position Overview:
The HR Specialist provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department, ensuring efficient day-to-day HR processes across the Museum of Illusions network. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive individual who enjoys working in a dynamic, creative, and international environment. The HR Specialist will support recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and employee engagement initiatives, contributing to an exceptional employee experience that reflects the Museum’s innovative and people-focused culture.
What you would get to do:
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening applications, and scheduling interviews.
- Support the onboarding of new employees by preparing documentation, organizing induction sessions, and ensuring all administrative requirements are completed.
- Maintain and update employee records in HR systems and personnel files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist in payroll preparation by collecting and verifying attendance and timesheet data.
- Support benefits administration and respond to basic employee inquiries regarding benefits and HR policies.
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding general HR-related questions.
- Assist in organizing employee events, team-building activities, and training sessions.
- Support internal communication and initiatives that promote the Museum’s values and culture.
- Ensure HR practices comply with local labor laws and company policies.
- Prepare HR documentation and reports as needed.
- Support continuous improvement of HR processes and administrative systems.
What you should bring along:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience as an HR Specialist or similar administrative HR role
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS (preferably Workday)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Passion for people, curiosity, and enthusiasm for working in a creative, fast -paced environment
- Solid understanding of core HR functions including employee relations, payroll support and HR administration.
- Hands-on experience using HRIS is required (familiarity with Workday is considered as a big plus)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
