Position Overview: 

The Head of Procurement is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the procurement process for R&D and commercial goods, developing and implementing strategies to achieve cost efficiency and quality improvement. The role involves identifying and evaluating key suppliers, negotiating procurement terms, managing contracts, and maintaining positive relationships with strategic partners. The Head of Procurement ensures effective collaboration with other departments to guarantee the timely delivery of products and services while adhering to procurement laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, quality, and efficiency
  • Plan, execute, and monitor procurement activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key domestic and international suppliers
  • Negotiate procurement terms and manage supplier contracts
  • Assess market trends and supplier performance to make informed procurement decisions
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in procurement practices
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the procurement team to achieve departmental objectives
  • Perform cost analysis and risk assessments to mitigate procurement-related risks


What you should bring along:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Economics, Logistics, Management, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in managing procurement processes, including planning, execution, and monitoring
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities
  • Ability to assess market trends and evaluate supplier performance
  • Knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, and ethical standards
  • Basic understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and cost control in procurement.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with domestic and international suppliers
  • Analytical mindset for data-driven decision-making
