Head of Marketing Research & Analytics Role Overview 

We are seeking a Head of Marketing Research & Analytics to take our marketing intelligence to the next level. This position will be working in close collaboration with our Business Intelligence Team on forecasting & modelling, where the  Head of Marketing Research & Analytics will be responsible for the marketing side of analytics (ROMI, ROAS, Marketing Mix Modelling). At the same time, the BI team will be responsible for financial and business forecasting and analytics.


What you would get to do:

  • Analysis of the effectiveness of advertising investments & activities;
  • Analysis of digital & performance marketing efficiency
  • Calculate cases for assessing the financial feasibility of launching marketing initiatives - e.g. marketing mix modelling (on city levels).
  • Post-analysis of the launch of marketing initiatives, verification and confirmation of commercial hypotheses;
  • Analysis of dynamics and reasons for changes, forecasting key commercial indicators of the marketing (revenue, traffic) in various locations & countries
  • Segmentation of the client base to identify core segments to increase loyalty and profitability of clients (optional)
  • Creating a comprehensive knowledge base about customers using Big Data (segmentation for new launches and products);
  • Enriching the data with internal and external data sources
  • Running quantitative and qualitative research for key markets with the help of research agencies
  • Building analytical dashboards;
  • Building a team and managing a group of research and analysts.
  • Create a vision for marketing research & analytics to help the business grow
  • Collaboration with the Business Intelligence team on creative business and marketing forecasts (revenue, ROAS modelling, marketing mix modelling)

What you should bring along:

  • Data Analysis Proficiency: Expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and data visualisation tools (e.g., SPSS, SAS, Tableau).
  • Digital Marketing Savvy: Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and tools, including SEO, SEM, and social media analytics (Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, Meta, analytics of other digital platforms).
  • Market Research Tools: Experience with advanced market research methodologies and tools.
  • Advanced Degree: Master’s or PhD in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Extensive Industry Experience: At least 3 years of experience in marketing research or marketing or business analytics, preferably in digital-driven organisations.
  • Global Exposure: Experience working in or managing projects across multiple countries, understanding diverse cultural contexts.
  • Leadership Roles: Proven track record in leading and managing teams, demonstrating effective leadership and team-building skills.
