Role overview
For our finance team, we are searching for an analytical and proactive FP&A Specialist who will support strategic financial planning and analysis efforts across our network of over 50 museums.
What would you get to do:
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes across MoI’s museum network.
- Analyze financial performance against forecasts and provide actionable insights to support decision-making at all levels of the organization.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities by monitoring key financial metrics, making recommendations to drive financial performance.
- Support investment decision-making by evaluating ROI, business cases, and project financials.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of FP&A processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
What should you bring along:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced degree or CPA/CFA preferred
- 3+ years in financial planning and analysis or experience in Financial Advisory Services at Big4 or similar.
- Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Advanced Excel skills and financial planning software; ERP experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive decisions.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction across all organizational levels.
- Ability to work independently, manage projects, and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a collaborative, adaptable mindset.
- Strong business acumen and proactive problem-solving.
- Skilled in presenting actionable insights from financial data.
