Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Digital Coordinator specializing in interior design applications. The role will include creating and managing several assets throughout different programs including BIM (Revit), 3D Modeling and CAD. This role requires deep expertise in the full Revit ecosystem, including Revit, Revit BIM Collaborate Pro, and advanced family creation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically rigorous, and experienced in managing BIM standards and workflows across interior design projects.
Together, we will design your to-do list, which will include tasks like:
- Lead BIM coordination for in-house Museum of Illusion projects.
- Setup and manage models in Revit and Revit BIM Collaborate Pro Environment.
- Create, manage and maintain templates for department and project use.
- Build, maintain, and optimize Revit families (parametric, nested, shared) for internal use.
- Develop and manage parameters, schedules, and data integrity.
- Maintain BIM standards, templates, and documentation protocols.
- Support designers with technical modeling and documentation workflows.
- Oversee model health, file performance, and version control.
- Train team members on BIM best practices and workflows.
- Create templates and models for outsource collaborators as required.
- Coordinate with Architecture and Exhibit Departments in keeping the template up-to-date
- with latest exhibits, strategies, materials and brand guidelines.
Decision Authority
- Task-level creative decisions within approved brand framework.
- Task prioritization and resource allocation within assigned projects.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related fields.
- 5+ years of relevant design experience in interior design or architecture.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and its ecosystem.
- Extensive experience with Revit BIM Collaborate Pro and setting up collaborative systems.
- Strong understanding of Revit family creation, parameters, and data structures.
- Knowledgeable in creating CAD templates and Sketchup models for supplementary workflows.
- Experience managing worksets, linked models, and shared coordinates.
- Strong knowledge of construction documentation standards.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
