Position Overview:
As Accountant you will work from the Zagreb office and within the accounting part of finance department reporting to Accounting Manager for EU. In this role you will be in charge of accounting process for international subsidiaries. Which includes monthly bookings and monthly deliveries according to group standards. We are looking for well-rounded accountant, capable of adapting to different situations with positive approach to new challenges.
What you would get to do:
- Booking incoming invoices, bank statements, revenue reports, journals, and payroll
- Process bookings on a timely basis and in accordance with our accounting guidelines
- Reconcile vendors, customers, banks and general ledger account entries on quarterly basis
- Book FA depreciation
- Book bank transactions
- Review vendor/customer balance reconciliations
- Book intercompany transactions per company policy, including intercompany loans
- Monthly bookings and reconciliations of other balance sheet accounts, such as inventory, fixed assets, accruals
- Assist with the monthly and yearly closing process
- Ensure all business policies and processes are followed to comply with internal controls, segregation of duties
- Any ad hoc project or process request
What you should bring along:
- You have a bachelor’s degree in accountancy-Tax or equivalent through experience
- You have minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
- You have a good understanding of legal regulations in accounting
- You are fluent in English
- ERP experience is a plus, or similar international accounting software
- Proficiency in excel
